James McConnell “Mac” Anderson was the brother of Walter Inglis Anderson, whose work you may have seen featured on HGTV’s Home Town. Almost all of Mac Anderson’s original linoleum blocks were destroyed during Katrina, including the original block for this piece (titled “Shearwaters” or “Terns in Flight”).
